Odonatum right in the mix at the Deutschlandstipendium festivities

This Monday, it was finally time to showcase Odonatum on the big stage. In other words: we stepped away from our desks and headed straight to the Deutschlandstipendium award ceremony.

The event’s main focus is the exchange between scholarship holders and sponsors, but when you have so many bright students in one place, there’s also a ton of potential for finding new team members. So, we took the opportunity to pitch our project to anyone who would listen.

Even we were a bit starstruck when TUM President Thomas Hofmann suddenly stood before us. It’s not every day that you get direct feedback from the very top – definitely a major highlight of the evening!

Besides chatting with students, we were busy networking with various organizations. We had some great talks with MTU and the Freunde der TUM to brainstorm future collaborations.

And as a little bonus, there were delicious snacks, wine, and more to keep us going.

In short: it was an awesome evening filled with inspiring conversations and new perspectives. We’re excited to see what grows out of these new connections!
